Preparation makes the finish
Auto Painting & Refinishing
Surface preparation, color matching, and refinishing for repaired panels, paint damage, and exterior restoration work.
What the service covers
A professional refinish starts well before color is applied. The panel must be repaired, cleaned, sanded, and prepared so the coating system has a consistent surface. We evaluate the vehicle’s existing finish, mix the color for the job, and inspect the result as part of the repair process.
Matching an existing finish
Vehicle color can vary with age, previous repairs, exposure, and the way metallic or pearl material reflects light. The paint code provides a starting point, while spray-out checks and blending decisions help the technician adjust the color for the vehicle in front of them.
A controlled repair sequence
Masking, primer, basecoat, clearcoat, curing, and polishing each have a place in the process. The exact operations depend on the panel and the damage. After refinishing, the repaired area is checked for color, gloss, surface quality, and proper reassembly.
Your repair may include
